Casual Academy Driver
Engagement: Casual position offering variable hours on a flexible basis

About the Role:
As an Academy Driver you will provide a safe, efficient and friendly service to
our players on the Academy Full Time Training Model ensuring safety is at the
forefront.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Driving:
• You will perform driving tasks on a fixed daily schedule provide safe,
timely and friendly transport to players on the Academy’s Full Time
Training Model who are of secondary school age. Driving
requirements are for three hours in the morning and three hours in
the afternoon/evening.
• Drive in compliance with the Rules & Regulations of the Highway
code.
• Ensure passenger safety at all times whilst undertaking driving duties
for the Academy.
• Additional driving tasks as required by the Academy programme.
• Ensure any incidents are reported immediately in the correct timely
manner.
Vehicle Management:
• On a daily basis conduct maintenance checks.
• Conduct regular safety checks of academy vehicles ensuring any
defects are reported and followed up.
• Ensure that the vehicles are maintained to a level of cleanliness
expected of the Academy.
• Adhere to Club safety protocols at all times.
What are we looking for:
• Strong communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
• A proactive, solution-focused mindset and the ability to adapt.
• Knowledge of transport regulations and safeguarding procedures
related to youth travel.
• Valid UK driving license.
• Have a flexible approach to availability and the ability to respond to
transport emergencies as needed.
• To create successful and professional relationships with players and
staff whilst maintaining professional distance from playing staff at all
times.
• To act, at all times, in a manner appropriate to a representative of
Nottingham Forest FC
• All staff are responsible for the wellbeing and safeguarding of
children and vulnerable adults on all Club sites. If you have a concern
or witness a Safeguarding matter, you must report it to the
department’s Designated Safeguarding Officer (DSO) or the Club’s
Lead DSO or Senior Safeguarding Manager. If It’s an emergency, you
are to call the relevant emergency service such as Police or CAMHS.
