Performance Analyst – Netball Super League (NSL)

Role Overview:
The Performance Analyst will lead all aspects of training and match capture, coding and analysis to support performance across the team. Working closely with coaches and players to deliver clear, influential insights on both our team and opposition to inform preparation, decision-making and player development.
Key responsibilities include producing pre and post-match analysis, managing secure data and video storage, maintaining player and team benchmarking and creating performance reports and video montages. The role also involves coordinating student analysts and ensuring all analysis meets England Netball standards. Flexibility, strong IT skills and the ability to work under pressure are essential.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Lead responsibility for ensuring all training and matches are captured.
- Responsible for ensuring that all training and matches are coded accurately as per league and club guidelines.
- Undertake pre-match and post-match analysis on own team(s) and opposition in conjunction with coaches.
- Deliver key insights and messages to coaches, staff and players in a concise manner to positively impact upon performance.
- Manage and coordinate student analysts.
- Lead the secure storage of all data and video.
- Lead the longitudinal benchmarking and profiling of all player and team data.
- Lead on creation and maintenance of montages as required.
- Lead on data reporting and input into mid- and end-season reviews.
- Be an active member of the MDT, feeding in critical data insights.
- Adhere to England Netball requirements and standards of analysis capture.
- Undertake all other reasonable duties as directed by the Head Coach.
Skills, Experience and Knowledge:
- UG in PA / Sport Science or related field.
- Previous experience of working in netball.
- 3+ years of working in performance analysis.
- Experience using Hudl suite of products.
- Flexibility in working times and availability at all NSL matches.
- Working to deadlines and under pressure.
- People first approach.
- Strong IT skills, literate with analysis products and Microsoft suite.
- Able to lead own time and plan appropriately.
