Role Overview:
Working as part of the Academy kit team you will provide support to the Academy Kit Manager and help with all aspects of kit and equipment for players, coaches and staff within the Academy daily.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Assist the Academy Kit Manager with the running of the Foundation Phase and Youth Development
Phase kit and equipment operations of the Academy.
Assist in the organisation, packing and laundry of kit for the Foundation Phase and Youth Development Phase age groups for training, trips and fixtures.
Assist in the distribution and laundry of all trialists kit in the Foundation Phase and Youth Development Phase.
Be in attendance and main point of contact at evening training and weekend fixtures fulfilling the kit requirements for the Foundation Phase and Youth Development Phase age groups.
Assist with printing and distribution of all training and match kit across the Academy.
Ensure the Academy kit rooms are maintained as a clean and tidy working environment.
Maintain our stock inventory and ensure all records are accurate.
Support the Academy Kit Manager with kit and equipment orders.
Attending the U18 fixtures and supporting other Academy squads when required, including travelling to home and away fixtures.
Daily distribution of all kit and equipment for players and staff.
Maintaining records of all trialist kit that is issued.
Performing daily checks on footballs and other relevant equipment for all Academy squads.
Providing support and stock control measures for all kit deliveries received to The Academy.
A full UK driving licence is essential as you will be required to drive the dedicated Club vehicle to and from fixture venues and Academy locations.
Present a professional image when dealing with both internal and external contacts and partners, acting in a professional manner always.
To create successful and professional relationships with players and staff whilst maintaining professional distance from playing staff at all times.
To act, at all times, in a manner appropriate to a representative of Nottingham Forest FC
All staff are responsible for the wellbeing and safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults on all Club sites. If you have a concern or witness a Safeguarding matter, you must report it to the department’s
Designated Safeguarding Officer (DSO) or the Club’s Lead DSO or Senior Safeguarding Manager. If It’s an emergency, you are to call the relevant emergency service such as Police or CAMHS
Skills, Experience and Knowledge:
FA Safeguarding Children.
FA CRB Enhanced Disclosure.
Degree or equivalent qualification, or equivalent relevant professional training or experience.
Experience of working with football regulations.
Experience working within an elite playing environment.
Experience of organising trips, tours and tournaments, both nationally and internationally.
Knowledge of the Player Performance Pathway (EPPP).
Drive to achieve deadlines, organise and prioritise workload effectively, and continually review ways of working to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Demonstrable skills and abilities in a PA / administration capacity.
Good verbal and written communication skills and be able to understand and explain matters arising in own area of work.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with people of all ages and backgrounds, able to maintain confidentiality, and act with tact and diplomacy.
Willingness and flexibility to deal with urgent changes / demands, whilst maintaining existing workload.
Excellent IT skills including the MS Office, intranets, web and Outlook.
Experience in health and safety duties and responsibilities appropriate to the post.
Flair for building internal and external networks, productive relationships to share information and ideas and improve working practices.
Skill at handling difficult situations and confidential matters according to policy and procedures, referring to others where necessary and appropriate.
