About the Role:
We are looking for part-time Foundation Phase Coach to join our Category 1 Academy Coaching Department. You will support and report to the Foundation Phase Manager and be responsible for the technical development and assist in the physical, mental, social and where necessary, academic development of the Academy schoolboy players within Nottingham Forest Football Club. Working closely with the Foundation Phase Manager align the coaching and playing methodology to create outstanding individual players with the potential to thrive when transitioning through our player development pathway. Provide alternative thinking to the status quo of Foundation Phase coaching ensuring the program and our methodology is at the forefront of elite practice across the industry

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Provide coaching to develop players of elite quality who are creative and allow us to achieve our objective of outplaying the opposition – plan and deliver sessions with an individual focus.
Provide innovative and engaging training sessions planning with a player centred approach understanding how young players learn.
Complete all necessary administration to comply with EPPP requirements and the Football Intelligence Platform - Complete player dashboards for development meetings, plan and finalise weekend player development selections with FP Manager.
At all times, act in a manner appropriate of Nottingham Forest Football Club displaying the Academy traits and ensure that all players in your charge also act in an appropriate fashion and display the Academy traits.
Promptly communicate with your age group coaching partners all important information, e.g., late arrivals, non-attendance.
Ensure all players and parents adhere to the Code of Conduct.
Drive the Club minibus when required to transport players/staff/parents to and from games.
Take part in Continued Professional Development (CPD) activities, both inside and outside the Club, to improve the quality of your coaching and overall work, e.g., ensuring all qualifications are up to date, and additional, relevant qualifications are undertaken when appropriate and agreed with the Head of Coach Development.
What are we looking for:
Minimum current qualification UEFA B Licence.
FA Youth Award.
Safeguarding Children Certificate.
FA Coaches Club Licence Maintenance.
Emergency First Aid.
Understanding of how youth development phase players learn.
Previous experience working with these age groups preferably in an Academy or Centre of Excellence.
